One Managed Route from Enquiry to Delivery
When a requirement involves non-standard materials, coatings, testing, heat treatment, drawing-based manufacture or a detailed certification pack, it takes more than a standard catalogue quote. SNB reviews the requirement, defines the correct route, manages the technical stages and provides the documentation needed for inspection, approval and use.
Technical Review & Enquiry Support
We review drawings, specifications, material requirements, testing needs, certification expectations, quantity and delivery requirements at enquiry stage. Technical points are clarified before order placement wherever possible so the quotation and supply route are based on a clear requirement.
Manufacturing & Supply Route Management
Components are manufactured to drawing, standard, specification or approved sample through appropriate controlled routes. Processes can include CNC machining, sliding-head turning, hot forging, thread rolling, screw cutting and bespoke manufacture, subject to product type, material and specification. SNB manages the supply route through to completion.
Heat Treatment Coordination
Where specified, heat-treatment processes are coordinated through suitable specialist routes. Supporting documentation can include certificates of conformity, furnace charts, temperature records and post-treatment test results where required.
Testing & Inspection Coordination
Mechanical testing, chemical analysis, NDT and dimensional inspection can be coordinated where required by the specification using appropriate accredited or specialist facilities. Results can be included in the final certification pack.
Surface Treatments, Coatings & Finishes
Coating and surface-treatment requirements are reviewed at enquiry stage and coordinated through appropriate specialist routes. Common finishes include Geomet, PTFE-based coatings including Xylan or equivalent systems, zinc-nickel, hot-dip galvanising, passivation, Dacromet and customer-specified finishes. Certificates of conformity are supplied where required.
Traceability & Certification Documentation
Certification packs are assembled to match the project and compliance requirement. Documentation can include original mill certificates, BS EN 10204 2.1 / 3.1 / 3.2 documentation, dimensional reports, test records, heat-treatment certificates, coating CoCs, FAIR packs, ITPs and PPAP documentation where specified.
Project Management & Communication
SNB keeps customers informed throughout the order, particularly where manufacturing, testing, coating, inspection or certification stages require careful coordination. We provide progress updates, flag technical issues early and communicate changes that can affect delivery.
Logistics, Packaging & Delivery
Orders are packed appropriately for the product, material and customer requirement. Delivery routes include standard road freight, express delivery and international freight where required. Scheduled deliveries and call-off arrangements can be supported subject to agreement.

Where a requirement involves specialist manufacturing, heat treatment, coating, testing or inspection, SNB manages the appropriate qualified supply route and coordinates the supporting documentation through to final delivery.
